At Cedar Street Boutique we sell colorful, comfy clothing and this line is no exception. “30A” is the name of the company that make the clothing pictured here. Named after highway 30A in the panhandle of Florida, the owners of this company believe in “reduce, reuse and recycle” so their “Dumpster Diver” shirts are made from recycled plastic bottles that could otherwise end up in our oceans. Every shirt is made from eight 16-ounce plastic bottles collected from landfills. They’re blended with cotton so they’re unbelievably soft. Their recycled yarn is made in the U.S.A. and they print the shirts in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. “You’ve probably seen them — round, blue ’30A’ stickers — adorning cars on highways all over the South,” said Southern Living magazine. “(30A stickers) are now strewn throughout the planet and spotted in places as far afield as Afghanistan, Uruguay and Iceland.” Besides gear (clothing for beach life) 30A is involved in a radio station, makes their own beer & wine and helps many charities with profits from their sales.
