Our Fall Maker’s Market is planned for Saturday November 14, 2026 on the lawn and parking lot of Cedar St. Boutique. We have space for approximately 42 vendors and are looking for artisans who make cool, quality pieces, not buy and resell. Email us at grumbleshouseantiquesandplants@gmail.com or stop by for an application. The cost is just $30 up until Oct. 31. $40 Nov. 1 or after.

Please be patient with us while we install, learn and become proficient on brand new software, after a zillion years on the tried and true. We have no choice but to do it and being that we are typically open 7 days a week, we will likely close one Monday in the next few weeks to do the deal. Especially if you plan to drive from some distance, please give us a quick call a day or two prior to your planned trip to make sure we will be open. (352) 465-1460 option 1. Our garden shop (option 2) will remain open while “the big house” closes. We may not be able to run your credit card this 1 day so it will be best to bring cash or check.

We are excited to have a way to show off local artisans. Twice a year, our parking lot & front, back and side lawn of Cedar St. Boutique is transformed into 10×10 spaces for those who make art and crafts giving locas a chance to support local art and shop for unique, handmade goodies. Join us Saturday, April 4 from 9am to 3pm to enjoy approximately 40 booths, live music from “The Smooth Trio” from 9-12 and George Schumacher, a part of the duo Fire & Water, 12:30-3pm.

Our garden shop continues hosting blooms and beauty, bees and butterflies, even in December. Of course we are full of holiday poinsettias and snapdragons for cooler temps but still have plenty of landscape material like viburnum, cameilas, lorapetulum, holly and palms. A recent fruit tree order has many of our customers getting their trees planted and established prior to spring to be ready for rain showers and new growth & blooms.

Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll try to find it for you. Come take a therapeutic stroll and enjoy the garden vibe.

New fashions arrive frequently at Cedar St. Boutique. Clothing, accessories, jewelry, handbags and shoes are what you’ll find at 11875 Cedar St., right behind Grumbles House. Our Artisan Corner features about a dozen artisans and crafters. See their work when you visit the boutique.

Welcome SPRING with our holiday bunny decor: hand painted real eggs from Austria, mango wood figurines, sweet fabric hand towels, crystal bunnies, bunnies made from vintage chenille bedspreads, Talavera pottery bunny planters

, concrete garden bunnies, real and pretend chocolate bunnies, bunny shaped soaps and more bright and festive.

Easter is April 20 this year and we hope to help you get Easter baskets ready as well as pretty up your home.

Without all the interesting folks stopping by, we surely wouldn’t need to be here.  We love what each of you bring to us – cute kids, a funny joke, a needed smile, a touching story.  I love talking with many to find out where you live and work and what brings you to Dunnellon.  Here’s a very few we’ve stopped to take a picture of, several of whom are wearing our fashions!

We’re ALWAYS getting in something new and interesting at Cedar St. Boutique.  Open  Mon-Sat.11a.m.to  5 p.m. and Sundays 11a.m. until 3 p.m. at 11875 Cedar St. Dunnellon.  Come see us!

We’ve got new things arriving almost daily at Cedar Street Boutique from now until October taking you from summer 2024 into fall in style. Due to customer requests, we are adding some extra small and plus sizes to give more of you, clothing to choose from. We value your feedback and try to respond best we can. That’s a plus of being a small mom & pop shop – we can pivot to suit your needs.

When you go to the mailbox to check your mail, who doesn’t like to receive a handwritten envelope from a friend or loved one instead of just bills & junk mail? Why not send a teacup card purchased at Grumbles House to folks you love and want to stay in touch with? Brighten their day by sending a greeting card that contains a color coordinated bag of tea waiting to be brewed. Teacup cards feature beautiful Victorian teacups surrounded by doilies, florals & period art designed by Kimberly whose education and training is in architecture.

“May each card deliver joy and encouragement to warm the hearts of those who receive them” says Kimberly. She started making greeting cards in 1984, hand painting them for those she loved

. She learned that “Ultimately, when we share kind words and encouragement, especially when it comes with a warm cup of tea to initiate comfort, it stops being about ourselves and begins being about others, and that is about as good as it gets.”

She had no plans of having a greeting card business but after all the positive feedback from those she gifted her cards to and by God’s gentle leading, and a series of many baby steps, this collection of Teacup Greeting cards are now available in fine stores so you can share your thoughts, encouragement, and tea with others in sweet style.

We add holiday cards like fall, Christmas, Easter and Mother’s Day throughout the year. These are just one of the specialty greeting cards we carry at Grumbles House.
