Marianne Wakerlin founded Solmate Socks in 2000 with the clear belief that “Life’s too short for matching socks.” They like to think of themselves as a venue for fostering creativity and promoting individuality rather than just an outfit business. Their whimsically mismatched socks and accessories are made to be worn with pleasure and confidence, accentuating fashion and the innate attractiveness of the wearer. They are warm, loving, and full of personality. They comprehend that sustainability and fashion go hand in hand and that every decision they make today will have an effect on the future. Solmate Socks is pleased to be a member of a worldwide business movement that unites companies to create positive impact as a Certified B-Corporation.  An d we are proud to partner with them!  Come get cha some socks!!

Spooner Creek/Macone Clay is the art of Michael Macone and the work of his family to get it produced and to us.  Every piece is handmade in Northwest Wisconsin.  We’ve sold a variety of it for several years now and are proud to partner with them on their well made and heart felt pieces.  From picture frames for a past cat “You were my favorite Hello and my hardest Goodbye” to “It’s Hard to Humble when you have Grandkids” to all of their funny and sweet ceramic magnets, wall tiles to my favorite, these great birdfeeders.  See them all at our store.  We always have a fun assortment.  Once of my favorite magnets “You are the She to my nanigans!” and another “Hurry Inner Peace!  I don’t have all day!”

When we go to market, Dane tends to gravitate to stone, steel, wood  – you know, STURDY things.  He’s connected with the folks of UK Fire Pits several times when we go and this January, decided it was time to bring some of their quality pieces back to Dunnellon.  Maybe because of the cold winter we’ve had, or because some of you have asked  for fire pits or maybe because we all enjoy getting outside in the fresh air to gather, cook and watch day give way to night with our bestie.  Whatever the case, we’ve started with these 4 models of quality hand crafted premium British steel apparatuses for customers who are ready to take the plunge and add one to their outdoor space.

If you think UK fire pits look familiar it’s quite possible you’ve seen them before. They exhibit at major events such as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, and Badminton Horse Trials, should you run in those circles.

They are also very proud to say that their fire pits have had starring roles in Fleabag, Game of Thrones, Cold Feet, and on This Morning.

We don’t have all things for all people at Cedar Street Boutique but we DO have casual comfy clothes in a variety of sizes, styles and COLORS.  This batch is new in 2023 from Kiki Sol.  Lightweight for hot days.  Vibrant to help you feel the same!

Kiki Sol’s creator and owner, Shawn Rohde, has drawn inspiration from the urban & coastal lifestyle she’s lived for the past 25 years in the bustling cities of NY, LA & Paris as well as the island life on St. Thomas and Hawaii and southern living in Fort Myers and Charleston.  She has a deep appreciation for the arts, travel, handicrafts, and color and it shows in her clothes!

Her mission is to blend the vibrancy of color with the good vibes of sunshine, beautiful prints and easy-flowing bodies making them the perfect option for summer, weekends, and travel. Shawn hopes the clothing will inspire your senses and refresh your mind; helping you look and feel your very best.

Fun and colorful pillows upcycled from saris from India are new to Grumbles House in 2023.  “Life is Good” and “Home Sweet Home” are hiding in the back.  If you need a splash of color on your bed, chair, couch or swing – we’ve got you!

We want to inspire you and those you love to joy, peace & love through the merchandise we offer so we keep this in mind while choosing.  Laughter is great medicine so if we can make you laugh or smile, we’re happy about that.  These vibrant art tiles, wall hangings, refrigerator magnets & photo frames make great gifts for others and reminders to self (Hurry up inner peace, I don’t have all day is one of my favorites).

Another of my favorite pieces from this company is the birdfeeder!!  Such a simple yet unique design that is practical and bird friendly.  Come in and see all the pieces we carry that this talented family in Wisconsin keeps churning out.

Taking customers items on consignment continually infuses new inventory into our mix.  AND it helps get something out of the house that has lots of life left to it but that no longer serves a purpose in their home.

Typically, you never get back what you paid for it, but now and then, depending on the circumstances, you get more.  And it’s fun to see those who find it, love it and buy it to give it purpose all over again.

We charge a whopping $10 fee to initiate an account.  Once open you can bring us things month after month as you clean out and want to part with things.  You may set the selling price or leave that to us.  We usually show the item(s) off on Facebook and in our email newsletter if really unique or special.  When the item(s) sell, we split the proceeds with you 50/50 and mail you a check before the 5th of the month following the sale of your items.

We love antiques but contemporary items sell as well.   You may begin the process by emailing photos of the items you wish to sell to grumbleshouseantiquesandplants@gmail.com.  We can email you a form to read over and begin listing your items from home.  If there are things we don’t think we have a market for, we’ll let you know from photos or when you bring it in.  Contact us at 4651460 to arrange a day to bring things in and you’re on your way to cleaning out and hopefully generating a little jingle for your pocket.

Get your perfect lazy day on a comfy swing chair from Grumbles House. Add one to your teenager’s bedroom, a his and hers on the porch, near a swimming pool or hang one from a tree in your garden or backyard. Come  see the fabric choices and have fun mixing & matching your favorite pillows.  Machine washable.  Hang to dry or fluff on low heat.

One of the new lines introduced late in August in our store is a fine art Print + Pattern Company that comprises an array of flowers in their printmaking.   We brought in a few of their prints and notecards because I saw quality art in the way they combine flora & fauna with watercolors and shapes we all know and love.  The card stock is nice, the colors are vibrant but peaceful and the animals are playful and sweet.

I met the owner & artist of the company and some or her staff at the Atlanta Gift Show in July where her art caught my eye and drew me in.  Each state she paints includes the use of the state flower and other popular natives from the region and she lists them on the back of the print.  I love that!  The print of our nation gives me a hopeful heart when I look at it.  It exudes life and love and growth.

Apparently the owner’s father was a botanist.  As a child, she followed along outdoors while he worked and picked up lots of hands on learning and a love for nature and the outdoors along the way.  Although her family is mainly from Alabama and North Carolina, her 9 month old son was born in Miami, FL “so the sunshine state holds a very special place in her heart for sure” her assistant Tori told me.

Next time you’re in, look them over.  I think you’ll agree, it’s a nice product.
