Groundbreaking of the Barbara Kelly Spitznogle Park

Saturday, January 23 at 10 am join Dunnellonites  next door to the Dunnellon Chamber of Commerce office as we break ground for the Barbara Kelly Spitznogle Park as part of the City of Dunnellon 125 Celebration.  This year is the 125th year of Dunnellon existing as a city.   The park will be constructed where the old water tower used to stand.  There will be 4 pavilions for bikers, walkers, families to enjoy complete with restroom facilities, bike pump and rack and water fountain.  Barbara Kelly Spitznogle was a community resident, mother, insurance agent, oncology nurse, city councilwoman, DHS football booster and friend to many who live here.  Her love for this community will live on through this park.
