Another Dane Myers Concert to Benefit Area Non-Profit

Saturday, April 30 at 7 pm Dane Myers & Wholehearted Productions artist Tessa Marie will perform a concert to entertain area music lovers and support animal lovers as well.  The Historic Train Depot of Dunnellon will be the site of the event which, if you haven’t been there for a show, is a treat just in itself!

Myers (our son) ran a contest on Facebook to see which organization residents wanted to see benefit from this concert and the #1 choice was Critter Crusaders of North Central Florida, a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of pets’ lives by creating more affordable ways to assist pet owners in supplying essential needs.  For their philosophy & more info, visit their site at http://www.crittercrusadersofncf.org/.

During prior Dunnellon Depot & Marion Theater concerts Myers & his band have raised thousands of dollars for the hungry (Dunnellon Food-4-Kids), the homeless (Marion County Salvation Army) as well as other Dunnellon community initiatives.  They enjoy partnering with organizations doing good things for the community.  Dane has performed throughout the state and headlined numerous local events including Light Up Ocala, the Habitat for Humanity of Ocala Strawberry  Festival &  The Celebration following Dunnellon Christmas Parade.  This year Dane is scheduled to perform on the main stage at the Florida Music Festival.

Musical influences heard in Myers music include soft pop artists such as Jason Mraz and James Taylor.   From his original music off his 2014 CD “This Changes Everything” to Sinatra, Earth Wind & Fire, John Mayer  and Justin Timberlake, this will be a night of music and community you won’t want to miss.

Joining Myers on stage will be Wholehearted  Orlando artist Tessa Marie whose music has been described as “a blend of indie pop, new folk and sweet soul you’ll fall in love with”.  Being a singer songwriter, Tessa uses her music as a form of release.  Besides playing solo, Tessa is a part of the Euk-A-Ladies.  She is in the beginning stages of recording her EP with Wholehearted Productions and is extremely excited about what the future has to offer.
