Creeping Raspberry is a low grower that stays 6-8″ tall and will easily spread 3 feet. The foliage is course and looks like ivy. Small white flowers in the spring followed by tiny fruit in the summer which is edible but very small. Perfect for landscapes with difficult sites such as hot, dry eroded slopes or ditches where soil moisture fluctuates from very wet to very dry. Creeping Raspberry thrives in these conditions. We have these in stock in 1 gallons for $7.
Louisiana Iris are adaptable to most parts of the country and native to the south eastern US. Iris should be grown in half to full sun and tolerates a wide range of soil types and acidity levels. Louisiana Iris can be used as an aquatic.
Gaura, aka Whirling Butterfly is a long-lived perennial to Texas & Louisiana which comes in a variety of pinks & whites and grows to heights of 2 1/2 to 4 feet. Plant in full sun to attract hummingbirds. Flowers bloom at tips of long dark stems or branchy spikes. They sway and dance in the breeze, hence the name. Spring, summer & fall bloomer. 1 gal. pots are $5.
Pineapple Sage is a hearty perennial that can be grown in full sun or part shade. Salvia (Sage) is the largest genus of the mint family. This one has foliage the fragrance of ripe pineapples. It grows 3-4 feet high & wide and boasts bright red flower clusters on 6-8 stems. Get creative by using Pineapple Sage in salads or drinks. We have 4 1/2″ pots for $3.50 each.
